This week brought big news about how AI is changing jobs. Many companies are using AI to do work that people used to do, especially for entry-level positions and middle management roles. Experts warn this could make it harder for young workers to start their careers.

But it's not all bad news! AI is also creating new types of jobs that didn't exist before. Companies are hiring people to train AI systems and check their work. Job websites report that AI-related jobs have more than doubled since last year.

Most HR professionals (82%) now use AI daily for tasks like writing job descriptions. While they see benefits, nearly half worry AI might make hiring decisions unfair. Some companies like Microsoft now require workers to use AI tools, saying it's "no longer optional" for most jobs.

Big job sites like Glassdoor and Indeed announced layoffs this week, partly because AI can now do some recruiting work. At least 20,000 job cuts this year were linked to automation technology.
